Above the Seas
I have an announcement!!
Dear Reader,
Am I allowed to confess that I have missed writing to you? I believe I have the freedom to do that. So, I have missed writing to you ^_^
If you have noticed things are looking a bit different around here, no fear this is still the publication you know and love. Created to Write is now Grace & Faith in Verse. It is my hope and joy that we experience abundant grace in deep-rooted faith together.
Ta-da!! Of course it will be business as usual, I will continue to upload poems and reflections. I am actually looking into kickstarting podcast right here in Substack, what do you think?
In the spirit of business as usual, here is one of my favourite pieces. Above the Seas is a gentle and reassuring piece written in God’s POV. Let’s begin.
Above the Seas
Focus on Me Listen to the sound of My voice The tides comes in and goes out It threatens to pull you in Even when you go under Fix your gaze upon Me I have My hands upon you It may not feel like it All you feel is the crashing of the waves I am here with you In the calm and in the tempest Keep your eyes above the waves
I am here with you
In the calm and in the tempest
Keep your eyes above the waves
My prayer for you is that you will always remember that you are not alone. God’s silence is not His absence. Sometimes we need to focus harder, silencing noise so that we can hear His still small voice.
Thank you so much for reading this week’s short reflection and the unveiling of the recent developments around here.
I’ll be back soon with another piece, God-willing.
Until then,
Shalom✨
